My first time trying to steal

I've never been much of a shoplifter, I've never really needed to or had the guts to but today I decided to bring a pencil case containing a tiny magnet and got myself a razor. I managed to lift it and put it in my bag but, when I tried to pass the sensor. It obviously beeped and my bag was searched. I was then given the choice of either the police coming for me or my mum coming to take me home. I obviously didn't want the police to come so I gave them my mums phone number and told her to hurry.<br><br>As I'm 15 and the manager was giggling as I was explaining the situation I'm pretty sure I got off easy enough.<br><br>My advice is: if you're going to steal something, make sure you have a good excuse and a decent persona for the people in charge, it also doesn't hurt to be a child.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Edit: the police aren't coming for me but I'm banned from the shop and my mum is asked to come and let them know that I'm not going to do it again.
