Carole & Tuesday has me questioning what anime is allowed on Netflix

It's been a personal mission of mine to watch all the anime on Netflix as it's so much easier than using a browser like crunchyroll and I don't have to deal with those annoying ads that play before a video that are impossible to skip.

However just recently I discovered that the anime Carole and Tuesday was removed from Netflix and after doing some digging I found that it was removed due to the depiction of Transgender characters which "violated" Netflix's policies.

The thing that really bothered me about this is that even though this anime was removed from Netflix, other titles like Cowboy Bebop weren't... even though it also included a Transgender character.

I've been thinking to myself, "What makes Carole & Tuesday so different from these other animes that it has to be removed?" and I've come to the conclusion that Netflix has a very strange view of what is and isn't "offensive" and this is just another example of inconsistency.

What are your thoughts though? I'd be really interested to hear them.

Edit: After reading the comments I just want to say that I'm extremely sorry for what I said earlier about the show being removed from Netflix. I'm also grateful that so many people have given their thoughts on this, as I've been able to hear what you all think. I'm truly sorry for this and I'll just stick to posting normal posts from now on.
