Why is this chamber so pro-union?

I've never seen a chamber so filled with people who think the solution to every problem is to just pay them more and let them have their way.<br><br>I'm a teacher at a middle school, and I'm actually creating this thread from my student's phone to be transparent, and I've been extremely underwhelmed with the quality and over the quality of the teachers at my school. I think I'm definitely in the minority as far as actually giving a shit, but it seems like at least a percentage of teachers don't actually care, and this chamber talks as if it's virtually none of us.<br><br>Why is this?
