Lowering the drinking age has proven to universally make things worse everywhere it's been tried

Everyone knows that the US has an incredibly high drinking age of 21. Most of the world has the drinking age at 16, some even lower. The US used to have it at 18, but raised it in the 80s. Since then, teen alcohol related deaths have been halved, and we've actually had the lowest amount of teen drinking ever. Slowly but surely, studies are coming out saying that cities/counties/states that have lowered the drinking age in the past decade have seen large spikes in drunk driving deaths and teen drug overdoses.
