Listen to your conscience. Don't let AI take over everything.

I spent the last 12 hours of my day without leaving the bed. 12 hours, I binged some light content on YouTube: the 2 hour ass video of AI doing a bad impression. The 15 minute video about AI playing the trombone. It went on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on... I came to the realization that I've spent 12 hours on a phone. For me to do anything about it would be for me to delete all the apps and spend the next 3 months which I've planned out so far in an itinerary to read my "To-Read-That-Book" list. I haven't read a single book in months.

And then I thought about the rest of the world. If I'm binging AI content then there must be a lot of other people doing the same. So what does that mean for the future of the world?

So I Google something, and maybe 50% of the time I get AI responses. Sometimes you can even tell that it's not a real person that you're listening to. Someone made the point that even if AI isn't necessarily taking over the world, then humans are still behaving like slaves to AI technology. I will continue to control my mind and react to AI the way that I react to everything, critically and by engaging and analyzing the content that I have access to.

And I think that you should too.
