We need to have a hard discussion. There are childfree people and then there are people who don't want kids right now but want them in the future and are on this sub.

I have been on this sub for a little over a year. I see a lot of people saying that they don't want kids EVER. However I see a lot more people saying that their friends are pressuring them into having kids and they don't want kids YET. There is a big difference between never wanting kids and not wanting kids right now. This sub needs to have an honest conversation about whether or not people who don't want kids right now belong on this sub. A LOT of posts on this sub are from young people who are in their early 20's and are being pressured by family friends to have kids and are wondering what they should do because they know that they don't want kids right now but don't want to ruin their relationship with their family and friends. There is also a lot of posts on whether or not people should freeze their eggs. People who are 100% childfree don't worry about things like that. This sub is also a lot more geared towards people who are being pressured by family and friends to have kids but aren't ready yet. We need to have a hard discussion about what this sub is about. Do we allow people who are on the fence about having kids to post on this sub? Do we open up a different sub for people who are being pressured to have kids but aren't ready yet?
