People who claim the bright future will be in "creative AI" are either woefully ignorant of how AI works or just delusional.

AI is pointless if it's not bright. This is the entire purpose of AI: to replace undesired human labor. If "image AI" does not produce photorealistic imagery, it's just a pointless toy.<br><br>"AI" is doing nothing that it was not designed to do. It is doing exactly what it was designed to do and it is the general ignorance of the populace that has placed it in this situation.<br><br>The notion that someone can make a living doing anything that is a repetitive, processable task is, and has been, for decades, a farce. There is a reason why college degrees, even those which are completely useless, are being pushed so hard. It's what you're supposed to do. Current AI is just the next step in our digitalization process.<br><br>It does not matter how "creative" you think you are. If that is not the case, you are apparently not some poor soul who has spent a decade of your life working a dead end job only a robot could love.
