I am struggling with calculating macronutrients of my meals.

So I both prep my meals and cook them daily. I prep because I don’t have time to cook after work and I cook because I like making fresh food. I just started to calculate the macronutrients of my meals and I am losing my mind. I am very hot headed and impatient. This is a recipe for disaster. Every time I try to measure my macro I come out with crazy calorie counts, ie 1700 calories per serving. <br><br>I have tried using MyFitnessPal, Believe, etc. I am a 190 pound man just trying to lose 10 pounds to reach the 1st of my 3 goals. It was a lot easier to just eat but I know this will pay out in the end. <br><br>I will keep plugging away at it but I don’t know where to start. I am a very straightforward guy so I need a very straightforward person to tell me where I am going wrong. Please help.
