Saw a copy of Rifle mag at the grocery store, did they change editors or something?

Picked up the "latest" Rifle mag off the rack at the local grocery store and immediately noticed something was up. Went through it and it's full of real gun stuff, like "the best way to carry a 1911" and stuff on carry guns, hunting, etc. No ARs as fashion statements in sight. There's even an article on why the SCAR isn't used by more of the military. What gives? They actually seem to be talking about firearms and their use rather than what tacticool POS is coming out next.
