It was stupid to think that the left stood for freedom

I know I’m just a baby and all of this has been discussed numerous times, but I thought that the left was for freedom. This feeling was reinforced for me when I read Marx’s Communist Manifesto. Go ahead and attack me for reading that dreck. I even went so far as to think that the left had a good idea but bad methodologies. So imagine how surprised I was when I realized that the left really doesn’t care about freedom at all. They don’t want us (or them) to do what we want. They are not happy with their own freedom to do what they want. (Funny that they don’t realize that they have all the freedom they could ever need.) <br><br>They don’t want to control people’s lives because of any non-existent scarcity. The basic necessities are cheap and easy to make. In fact, we make way more than we need. Why is it that they want to control people’s lives? Why do they want to control you? It’s not as if it’s going to make your life better.<br><br>They don’t want you to be free. The left does not want you to do what you want. They don’t want you to be free. Period.
