I walked in on my parents' neighbors...and it was a human trafficking situation?

This happened recently, and I was so shocked by it that I'm literally shaking just writing about it right now. <br>One of my neighbors knocked on our door and asked if I could look in on her husband while she was away at work. It was her birthday, and he'd gotten her a surprise present and she needed someone to let him in because he'd forgotten the key.<br>I said of course, and not to worry. I went over when he messaged me, and he gave me the key back and thanked me.<br>When I stepped into the house, I was hit with an overwhelming stench, kind of like a skunk. I spun around, looking for a dead animal that had somehow gotten inside. <br><br>There was a guy in the living room with a needle in his arm, and a suitcase-made bed next to him. He looked at me, and I got the weirdest vibe. I literally felt my skin crawl, like he'd touched me or something. He had a creepy black tattoo on his neck, a skull with weird symbols around it. <br><br>I told him I was just leaving the key on the kitchen counter and got out of there as fast as I could. When the neighbor got home, I told her what had happened, and it completely caught her off guard. I suggested that we call the police, but she said she was afraid of that guy. Apparently he was a mob enforcer for the Aryan Brotherhood, or something. <br><br>So what we did was tell our landlord, who called the police. She got evicted, and I haven't seen him around since. I'm just...thankful that I got out of there when I did. I'm still kind of shook up.
