What will happen to the jobs that require creativity?

I am an architect. I now see AI tools becoming more important than ever in my workflow. We have tools like generative design, content-AI, etc. I imagine these tools will rapidly improve and one day become intelligent enough to take over most of the design process with minimal input. I’m quite excited about the potential to create something new, but I’m also afraid that my creative calling will disappear. I’ll give an example. I recently talked to a colleague who had a meeting with the head of a research center. It was about the idea to build a community (maybe even a village) for people with dementia. The research center had already received a large offer from an engineering company. They now want to discuss it with a small group of architects. My colleague spent the whole day brainstorming the concept. And then came the content AI, which generated attractive images in minutes. I know that the day will come when architects are out of demand. I won’t panic, and I don’t think it will happen in the near future, but it will happen. And then there are the words of Kevin Kelly, which I find quite true. “We are wealthy enough to pay people to make us happy.”

But I want to know your thoughts? Are there any creative fields that are less in danger of being replaced by AI? Would the creation of technological objects themselves be an alternative? Or maybe creative professions that are less dependent on digital media, such as woodcarving, pottery, sewing, and similar? I would like to hear your thoughts. Do you think that in the future, there will still be work for creative people in the traditional sense, or will creators be forced to become producers of information for AI algorithms?

Forget about “they will create new jobs” because humans have a tendency of making the exact same mistakes. They will just find new ways to screw up their lives and continue to act like a bunch of idiots. They will invent new ways to be wasteful, selfish, and destructive. So the only thing that will change is the ways they are stupid and not the fact that they are stupid.
