A needed rant from a 3 year ABOsender

I’m early 30’s, my mom is 60s and my dad 70s. I’m an only child.<br><br>When I was a child I was an overachiever. I was a digital native. I’m a jock. But when I was a kid I was bullied in school. I was not bullied because I’m ugly. I was bullied because I was a nerd. <br><br>When I was a kid I was convinced I had a nanl because of my parents and i’m not the most popular kid in school so I said Fuck You to everyone in school, I’ll just be a nerd and focus on my career. I will not go to party, I will not befriend anyone I’ll just study and My Dad and Mom will always be there for me.<br><br>If you are single mom and you have a son and you’re living off government benefits, this post is for you.<br><br>Fast forward to today.<br><br>When I was 20 I started my job, I was a high achiever in my career. Looking back, I was overpaid, overworked and underappreciated. I was told by my parents to always put work first. <br><br>When I was 22 my dad had a stroke. My mom, in her infinite wisdom decided to take him to the nearest hospital even if it was not the best hospital in our area. My dad had to stay in the hospital for 2 months due to her mistake. My uncle was the one who took us to a better hospital and a better doctor. Later my mom said to me and my uncle “If only you were here earlier, we would have taken him to the better hospital sooner”. My uncle who is my dads brother took me aside and said “It’s not our job to babysit your mom”. <br><br>Fast forward to today my dad has walked again. But his speech isn’t perfect. My dad who was a handsome tall strong man is now an invalid.<br><br>I’m not mad at my mom for fucking up. Mistakes happen. But my mom is a godamn idiot. I’m mad that her, my dad and my uncle believe that it’s my job to support them make decisions for them and take care of them especially me, as the son. <br><br>Flash forward to today both my dad and my uncle are invalids. I’m their only hope. My uncle is divorced. My dad is an invalid.<br><br>I have a nephew and a niece. I took them to a concert last night and they were happy. I was happy. I realized that I dont need to be a dad to be a parent. <br><br>My mom has been begging me to find a wife. I’m a good son. I’m a good provider. I have been sending them money every month but it’s never enough. I’m expected to do more. I’m expected to carry the family on my back. They have no problem making decisions for me. They have no problem selling my time. I’m just a laborer for them. I’m expected to take care of my parents. My uncle is mad at me for not doing that. My parents are mad at me for not taking care of them. I’m expected to give them my money. I’m expected to drop everything for them. I’m not mad at them for fucking up because Mistakes happen. But my mom is a fucking idiot and expects me to carry the family on my back.<br><br>I’m telling them right now, I will not do it. I will not be a packmule. I will not be a provider. I will not be expected to do more. I will not carry the family on my back. I will not be the breadwinner, I will not be the decision maker. I will not be their laborer. I will not drop everything to carry them on my back. I will not be their cashcow. I will not be their boy. <br><br>I was a good son. I’m a good provider. I’m a good brother. It’s the term ABO sender because I’m the one who ALWAYS sends ABO (Always Bring Own/ ABO or Always Be Online ABO or Always Bring Others ABO) money but it’s the same principle.
