Many of you are incorrect and basing it off opinion. <br><br>You should do what works for you but if you want to learn a language, you should learn grammar. <br><br>You don’t have to learn grammar first. <br><br>If you are over 6 years old, you cannot learn the fundamentals of a language by just surrounding yourself in it. <br><br>If English speakers and non-English speakers both can agree on anything, it’s that English has way too many exceptions. English also has many loans words from Greek and Latin. <br><br>Your native language has grammar rules you follow without even thinking about it. You can learn the grammar rules of a language and apply them to your daily situations. <br><br>If you don’t know grammar, all of the vocabulary you learn is useless. <br><br>If you want to learn a language and want to commit 4-6 hours a day to learning a language, you can learn a language in 3-6 months.
