1. **The black pill is the only truly anti-consumerist pillar of thought.**

This idea did not start as my own, but as part of a conversation between myself and a good friend. It has been in my thoughts lately however and I felt the need to expand on it, and finally put it down in words. The reason for this post is to lay out the argument of why I believe this to be true.

2. **Consumerism as a part of society, and how it is harmful**

Consumerism is a structure through which capitalism operates. Capitalism is a system which operates by creating and servicing human wants as efficiently as possible. These wants are created by marketing campaigns which are designed to exploit human psychology to create desire.

The reason why this is a problem is that the ability of capitalism to satisfy human desire far outstrips the ability of the human brain to manage such satisfaction. Humans, as a race, are prone to addiction. When we are satisfied, we crave satisfaction even more. It leads to overconsumption in all of its forms. The clearest example of this is probably food. Overconsumption of food is a widespread problem. It leads to health problems and obesity. The human brain struggles to regulate itself.

It is not just food. People spend far beyond their means for consumer goods. We have too much leisure time to spend our money on. We consume so much, and then throw it away. Yet we have too little time, money, and energy to focus on more important things.

3. **Tradcons and consumerism**

Tradcons hate consumerism. Yet, they are probably the largest servants of capitalism. All tradcons do is bitch and moan about how consumerism is destroying family and society, yet they still participate in it without fail. They let capitalism dictate their desires, and then buy the products which they know full well are designed to exploit them. Despite calling consumerism a Satanic practice, they won't just create their own way of living. Tradcons are just too scared, too lazy, or too stupid to change their ways.

4. **Leftists and consumerism**

The modern left, particularly the mainstream in developed countries, are maybe even larger servants of capitalism than tradcons, because they don't even acknowledge how they're being exploited. The left obsesses over issues of equity, but they ignore how capitalism is the root of so much overconsumption and waste. The left are more than aware of how much of a problem consumerism is, yet they ignore it. The left are much more interested in equity than sustainability. They have even gone so far as to start calling people who avoid consumerism "racist" and "sexist". Such is their love of capitalism.

5. **Right wingers and consumerism**

Right wingers are just as bad. They claim that the government is a bloated, parasitic institution who is bleeding them dry, but then they happily participate in the capitalist system while pointing fingers at the government for all the problems it supposedly causes.

6. **The black pill and consumerism**

The black pill is the only pillar of thought which truly acknowledges the nature of consumerism. The black pill despises consumerism, and actively seeks to destroy it. It is against consumerism because consumerism has a net negative impact on society. While consumerism has improved a lot of things in human society, the downsides far outweigh the upsides. It is against the concept of overconsumption and waste. It is against the creation of useless desires and wants, and above all, it is against the creation of a system which exploits human psychology for its own gain.

The black pill also seeks to overthrow consumerism for personal reasons. The black pill is against consumerism because consumerism is a structure through which women operate. Women are the primary consumers, and as such, capitalism caters to them. The black pill despises how consumerism has created a hypergynic sexual and social structure. Through consumerism and feminism, women have found a way to exploit men and extract resources from them. The black pill wishes to destroy this hypergynic sexual structure, and in so doing, destroy the need which drives consumerism.

The black pill is also against consumerism because consumerism creates a system of status competition which automatically disenfranchises the poor, the ugly, and the weak. The black pill despises how consumerism has created a system in which you can only be accepted if you are willing to play along. It despises the waste, overconsumption, and exploitation which this has created. The black pill is against the parasitic elite who are behind the creation of consumerist society, who reap all the benefits, and who destroy all competition to it. The black pill despises that the parasitic elite do all this for their own gain, at the expense of humanity.

In conclusion, the black pill is the only truly anti-consumerist pillar of thought. The black pill despises consumerism and wishes to destroy it. It is the only pillar of thought which is truly committed to destroying the exploitation and waste which consumerism brings.
