As we've seen the last few days, many are trying to blame this on their notions of "the left," "progressives," "Democrats," "liberals," and "socialists." But this is the natural outcome of what happens when you put a piece of shit like Trump in office, what happens when you glorify unmitigated greed, deception, and fascism; what happens when you let the criminal class into the government and into the White House.<br><br>Trump is the natural outcome of the principles of capitalism and greed and what happens when democratic governments are subverted by special interest groups and corporations. I don't think anyone could better personify the selfishness, greed, and criminality of the wealthy compared to Trump. He's a perfect example of the dangers of fascism and the dangers of forsaking democracy. He's an example of what happens when we allow selfishness and greed to become the guiding principles of politics, over the welfare of the people. He's an example of the dangers of corporatism and when we let the wealthy and corporate interests go unchecked. He's an example of what happens when we allow money to influence policy, and what happens when money becomes the most important thing in politics.<br><br>He's perfect proof that the founding fathers were correct when they said that the wealthy are the biggest enemies of democracy. He proves that democracy cannot survive if the people do not have adequate power to hold their government accountable. He proves that democracy cannot survive if the people do not have adequate power to account for the wealthy and corporate interests, and if these wealth groups and corporate interests are not held accountable, they will purchase the very government itself and use it to pillage the nation for their own benefit and for their own power.<br><br>Trump is a gift from God to prove how right the founding fathers were; to prove that without a government and society that prioritizes the welfare of the people above all else, you end up with the Donald Trumps of the world, and the US ends up like it is now.<br><br>We've been warned.
