I learned how to read in the first grade. How did you do it?

Fell behind in kindergarten because I couldn't read. Feeling crushing shame I was in the bottom 3 with Down syndrome kids. I spent the whole first grade really trying and learned. How the fuck did you people in the 5th and 6th grade not learn?<br><br><br><br>P.S. I'm only 24
