I told my BIL to take out the recycling because otherwise he'll wake me up when he leaves for work at 6am and now my husband is giving me shit

I (28F) work a normal Mon-Fri 9-5 but my job requires me to be not tired, focused, and alert, whereas my husband’s (27M) job is a 6 day a week 6am-2:30pm job that leaves him absolutely dead to the world by 5pm. We have a guest staying with us right now (husbands brother) who also works these sort of early shift hours.<br><br>Our garbage and recycling gets picked up at 6am on Thursdays. I temporarily forgot that my husband’s brother was staying with us when we were going to bed, and when I remembered I said “Oh, hey, if you’re gonna take out the trash, can you take out the recycling too since it’s a Thursday and I don’t want you waking me up when you leave for work?”<br><br>He agreed. <br><br>Fast forward to my husband waking me up before he left for work, telling me that his brother was very offended that I don’t want him in my room. I think that’s ridiculous since I wouldn’t have cared had it not been a Thursday. But my husband insists it’s rude.
