Why are Wisconsin and Minnesota so obsessed with their state pride?

2 Wisconsinites and 1 Minnesotan were arguing who’s better. One of the Wisconsinites lost his keys but was convinced he left them at one of the 3,000 lakes in Wisconsin. Another one said they could have gone to the NFL, but instead choose to be chefs. And the Minnesotan said they could buy 10 Wisconsins and Minnesotas combined and still have billions of dollars left over. I think I’m moving to Minnesota.
