People who grew up in the 50s-80s are spoiled

They literally can’t shut up about how good it was back in the day. When you could buy a house for like 3,000 (which is still a lot to the majority of teenagers and young adults). You can buy like 3 houses with that money now. Even if you account for inflation, the economy sucks. I’ve heard stories of people who could work at fast food, a minimum wage job, and could go to a university for like 300 dollars a year. Those days are gone. The economy is dying. We can’t even afford college. We can barely afford an apartment. We can barely afford a house. We can’t even afford healthcare. We can barely afford cars. I know some people have it good. I’m not saying that they had it better than everyone, but they had it better than us in general. They can’t even see us struggle. They can’t see that the economy is collapsing. We can barely afford anything. We can barely afford our basic needs. Who cares if a BigMac was .50 cents in 1960. I can’t even afford a big Mac now. I can’t even afford college. I can’t even afford a degree. I can’t even get a good paying job(if I can get a job at all). No wonder people are committing suicide. No wonder people are doing drugs. No wonder people are committing crime. No wonder people are angry. The economy is trash. The government doesn’t care about us. They don’t love us. They don’t care about us. All they care about is money. It makes the world go round. It keeps us alive. It keeps us surviving. It keeps us thriving. Money is life. Life is money. How can people from these generations not see that the economy is trash? How can they not see that we struggle so much more than they did? Why is it so hard for them to see that?
