Over time, would humans abandon their cultural identities?

Assuming no major global catastrophes, massive conflicts, or the destruction of Earth, would humans continue to identify their cultural identities into the distant future? Into the tens of thousands of years, hundreds of thousands, or even millions of years? <br><br>Would humanity ever reach a point where we'd abandon our cultural identities, and the world would be homogenous in terms of language, music, and how one would live their lives?
