Is 4chan still alive or is it just a hollow shell of what it once was?

I started visiting this site in 2008. It was an interesting place. I got a few laughs on /b/ (mainly the Chinese Scam Thread), it was also rather interesting to see the political discussions that were had on /pol/. But over the years, it just seems to keep on getting worse and worse. Recently, I came to visit and noticed most people are just forcing their own viewpoint (politics) down everyone’s throats and it’s not funny or entertaining anymore. It’s all the same viewpoints everywhere. It’s not the anarchy it used to be. The site is just pure garbage that no one enjoys. Does anyone else see the change?
