I just started investing in stocks and I think an app designed for beginners would be great for people who are just starting to learn about stocks and investing.

Here is a screen-by-screen breakdown of the app:

**Welcome Screen (Home Screen/Menu):**

There will be a menu screen with different sections for top stocks by category, news, recently traded stocks, traded stocks, stocks that are currently being watched, etc. Similar to the home screen of Pinterest or Tiktok.

**Learn Section:**

This section is for beginners. It is a step by step guide to learning how to trade stocks for the first time. Topics to cover: 1. Buying stocks, 2. Creating an account, 3. Linking a bank or credit card, 4. Where to find your funds, 5. Where to find the stocks, 6. Different stock categories, 7. how to place a trade, 8. How to place an advanced trade, 9. How to sell a stock, 10. How to stop a stock if you want to stop selling/buying it, 11. What is a trading plan, 12. Crypto, etc. 13. What does the number of the stock mean, and what does the percentage mean, and what is the overall value of a stock? 14. Is a higher stock number better than a lower stock number? 15. What are stock categories and how to choose the right stock based on your financial goals.

**Stock Categories Section:**

There will be a section that lists every possible stock category.

**Stock Search Section:**

Stocks will be searchable by stock name, stock category, random stock, and trending stocks, top stocks, recently traded stocks, most traded stocks.

**Stock Trading Section:**

Connect to an account with the stock trading company. Stock account companies include- Robin Hood, Stash, Webull, Fidelity, Cash App, eToro, etc. (thinking I can customize them to have different colors/looks based on the brand of the account.)

**Trading Section:**

Step by step guide on how to trade a stock. The app will show the user where to find all the stock information and how to place a trade.

**Stock Portfolio Section:**

Here the user sees what stocks they have purchased/traded.

**Stock Information Section:**

The app will show the stock number, stock percentage, the company name, the stock category, the company overview, all the companies competitors, the stock category overview, the companies location.

**Watch List Section:**

A list of the stocks the user is watching.

**Settings Section:**

Here the user can customize the app. There will be a variety of colors, designs, fonts, etc.

**Stock Trading Account Section:**

Here the user can see their account information if they want to see how much profit they have made on their stocks.

**Warning Section:**

The app will give you a warning if your stocks are losing money.

I am not sure how to make this app, I am already a little familiar with coding and web development, but I want to know a few things:

1. Can this be done? And how complicated would it be to do? Is this too complicated for a beginner? 2. Would I need to add anything else to this app? What is missing? 3. Would I need to hire anyone to help me with this? 4. Can I design this using adobe XD instead of coding it? Or is it better to code it? 5. Would I need to design this on the app softwarestre (xcode? Is that what it is?) 6. Should I make this as a website instead of an app? 7. Would I need to get permission to use the stock account company's software in this app? 8. Is this already an app? Or am I going crazy? Is it illegal to copy an app idea? 9. How long would this take me to make by myself as a beginner? Months? A year? 10. What programming languages would I need to use to make this app?
