Does anyone have a job where tips are included in their pay check?

I'm a hairdresser and my boss includes all of my tips in my pay check. So if I make $100 in tips, he includes that in my pay check. Last week I made $2000 in tips and he included all of it in my check. I'm really confused cause I never got tips before as a hairdresser. Is this normal? Do I have to return the tips I received in cash to my boss? Also my boss pays for all the products required to cut hair and use that will make all of my haircuts and color look good. I don't get service charges. But when I ask my clients to tip me, they give me money.
