So I play Duolingo on and off, I was going through the German course and while it's funny I would rather be learning Japanese since it's a language I'm really, really passionate about.

I'm looking forward to actually learning Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji and being able to read it. But yeah, It's going well so far and I'm actually almost back to my highest level (Level 3 I think) While I'm doing it, I'm actually learning Japanese from different places like Japanese Channels on YouTube, Japanese movies, and some Japanese games, so It's working really well for me so far. I'm actually really excited to speak some Japanese to my Japanese friends, I think they would be really shocked since most of them know I'm Mexican. It's actually my dream to go to Japan, and I'm actually close to getting a good job with good pay, so I would be able to actually go to Japan.

Right now, I'm going to keep going at my own pace, I know that I will make mistakes and have trouble learning some things, but I think the feeling of actually learning is what's fun. I'm actually really happy with what I have achieved so far and I think I will keep going until I actually achieve my dream of going to Japan and actually being able to communicate in Japanese.

Edit: Yes, I know Duolingo isn't enough but I'm actually supplementation it with other resources.

Edit #2: I'm Mexican btw, sorry for the confusion in the post.
