Question about the Chinese Mandarin language and Korean language

So, im planning to learn another language besides Portuguese and English, and i have two options in mind.<br><br>However, i have some questions.<br><br>1- Is it true that the Chinese language has a lot of variations, and that this can be bad for learning it?<br><br>2- Is Korean language is easy?<br><br>Sorry if its a dumb question.
