I'm getting a bit fed up with anime.

I don't really know how to explain what's happening in an anime that makes me dislike it to the point where I drop it but the longer I watch anime, the more I notice things I hate. <br><br>I'm not picky at all about what I watch, I would be perfectly fine with watching any genre. However every time I watch an anime, I notice too many things that I just can't stand. <br><br>I'll give an example of what I mean by this, let's say I love the story, the animation, the soundtrack, the way the characters look, the setting etc but then I hate the episodic format, or the characters, how it's rushed, the fanservice, the bullshitty writing etc.<br><br>People always tell me "then why don't you just switch to watching Western Cartoons?" but the thing is I don't want to, I don't like the look of cartoons and I don't like the fact that I wouldn't be able to talk to people about the shows I watch. <br><br>I've been watching anime for about ten years now, but up until about three years ago I didn't care about any of the things I mentioned above and now that I pay attention to it, I just can't stand the idea of watching an anime that contains those things but the problem is those things really overshadow anything else. <br><br>I don't know why I posted this but I'm just pretty frustrated at the moment about it.
