What are some alternative words people can use in place of "white" and how would you apply them like in a sentence?

I'm seeing a lot of people (people of color) use the word "white" both ironically and unironically to describe anything that is white like when people use black to describe anything that is black. I know white people are upset that the word is used like this so what alternative are people using instead and how do you use them and can you give examples of this in a sentence?
