Boyfriend (23M) opened my (21F) package and is upset that it isn't for him?

I ordered a big box of Valentine's Day gifts. I got heart-shaped candies, baking pans in the shape of hearts, new red kitchen utensils, etc. Each heart-shaped item is individual and inside its own plastic bag. I ordered 12 heart-shaped cookies cutters as a little decoration for my friend group.<br><br>When I got home from work last night, I noticed that my boyfriend had opened the box and was fuming. He asked me why I would order so many cookie cutters and if I was "stockpiling them for some reason". I stupidly assumed at the time he had opened the box to see what was inside. I explained to him that a few were for me, a few for him, and the rest were for my friends to take at the V-Day celebration. I also pointed out that each plastic bag inside the box was closed and sealed, meaning he definitely rummaged through the box to see what was inside.<br><br>He got upset that I would dare say he "rummaged" through the box, because he "doesn't like that word". He said that he just opened the box to look inside because he was curious. He said he didn't know that "there would be so many cookie cutters", like he thought it was just ONE box of cookie cutters, which is fair, I guess. I told him that I was concerned he would be upset that I ordered them in bulk, but he said that he isn't. He said he thinks it's cute that I bought them for my friends.<br><br>Later that night, I was putting things away and I realized he had opened every single cookie cutter package. I don't know what to say to him because opening one or two is understandable, but all 12? That's ridiculous. I think he was trying to see if I was lying about the amount used for each person. I don't want to make a big deal out of it because it's Valentine's Day and I planned this event out. But at the same time, I can't ignore that he literally opened every package, which is stupid because what is he even going to do with 12 heart-shaped cookie cutters? I did explicitly say I was saving some for me, so if I find they're missing now, I'll be pissed.<br><br>What do I even say to him?
