I sat at the boys table and completely disagreed with their perspective of women

I’m a 15 yo girl, I don’t know if this is allowed but I don’t think it matters for this post - I sat with one of my classes and we were talking about who is more strong emotionally - men or women. They all agreed that men are more susceptible to STRESS and mental instability because of social pressure and such - so I asked “but what about women?” One of them looked at me and was like - “girls can cry” and I was like dosent that count for boys too even if it doesent happen as often? And he just looked at me and said “maybe but who overreacts more?” And I dont know if I was wrong but I just thought women cry and overreact more but I don’t think that’s a bad thing, I believe men cry and overreact more too and I’d love to hear your thoughts on this, I think the only reason men don’t toteally overreact and cry is because we have programmed them not to, and the fact that women are allowed to cry makes us more emotionally unstable when we can’t control it. Eventually the guys asked me to drop it and I was like “sure but whatever” and I think they were kinda mad that I didn’t agree with them but I guess I just like to argue.
