What was the original anime that made you love anime?

This post is inspired by a conversation I had with a friend. It was fun. I want to hear your answers.<br><br>If you don't have one, what makes you love anime?<br><br>My answer is this. When I was a kid, my older brother would get these VHS tapes that had anime on them from this local anime store in our town. The first tape he got was a copy of the first two episodes of Sailor Moon. I had seen nothing like it before. The story, the characters, the music, I was hooked. In fact, it is so ingrained that I watch Sailor Moon every year. It is my favorite show.<br><br>Your turn.
