Chambers

How would you feel about Chambers adding a feature that shows you how many people have "secretly upvoted" a post or comment?

I'm incredibly angry over a contentious post I made on a political chamber that I frequent. It garnered many upvotes, but 95% of them were "secret upvotes", meaning only the person who posted saw them, not anyone else. It's a feature you can choose when you make a post or comment, but I don't think that many people use it.

I sort of knew from all the thumbs down, but I had no idea it was so bad. The fact that so many people had to make a special effort to keep upvoting me privately really speaks to the mob mentality and how people make decisions based on upvote tallies.

Anyway, I'm wondering what Redditors think about revealing "secret upvotes" in the future.
