Why do I keep seeing so many videos on my social media feeds of monkeys being scared and or beat up?

I'm getting videos on my feeds of people scaring and beating up monkeys because they are stealing food. It seems like a coordinated campaign to make me hate monkeys and to want something to be done about them. <br><br>Why?
