My sister and I both have books to read for a summer class and the ones at our university library are the only ones on the shelves. My copy, as opposed to my sister’s copy, is in much worse condition. The spine is cracked and the pages appear yellowed and torn. My sister’s copy was in pristine condition and she laughed that her book was in much better condition than mine. I was flipping through the book and found a poorly written note.

“There tis!!1!! You must peal the pages in order to obtain it.”

“I’M NOT LAYING MY PET NOODLE IN LAYERS AM I??”

“I found this in my gynocology buk and I don’t no what it meins!!1!”

“i swear if I find a corn dog in the pages I’m vending my noodle.”

As a medical student, it was extremely funny that this was in the pages of one of my textbooks. It was so stupid, and chill, that I looked it up and it’s a 15 year old story that got lost in the depths of Reddit.

There’s something so funny to me about the note because it’s so unlike anything I’ve seen in my medical school journey. I’m extremely grateful for the laughs I got out of such a stupid post.
