A warning to single moms, especially those on r/singleparents.

I'm seeing a lot of women also on r/singleparents venting about feminism and saying they're no longer feminist after joining r/KAM. **Do not join r/KAM if you're a single mom with non-adult sons.** r/KAM is not just a place for women to vent, it's also extremely anti-male and many have expressed openly that they would kill their male children if they could. Many have even expressed the wish that their male children die. If you join r/KAM, expect to hear a lot of negative things about your son. r/KAM does not want to hear about your son's good qualities, accomplishments, or how proud you are of him. <br><br>Many women on r/KAM also hate single mothers, so they will not be sympathetic to you. Single moms who express pride in their sons have been historically shamed and called "mommy enablers." If you join r/KAM, expect to be shamed for even having a son if you're a single mom. <br><br>I genuinely think r/KAM is a place where women can vent since women have historically been discouraged from speaking out about what we don't like about men and calling out misogyny. I do not think r/KAM should be banned, but I do think women with sons should stay away from it. There are plenty of other places to vent, like the female-only chambers (like r/women, r/TwoXIndia, r/GenderWarReport, r/GenderCritical, etc.) that are similar to r/KAM. <br><br>tl;dr; As a single mom with a son, you will face backlash and will not be treated kindly if you join r/KAM and express that your son is a good person. You will be shamed for having a male child if you're a single mom. If you want to vent, join a female-only space instead of r/KAM.<br><br>Update: For anyone saying that r/KAM is the same as MRA chambers, I have never seen any MRA chambers that encourage fathers to kill their daughters. Many MRAs are misogynists and do not want women to kill their sons because they care about men. Many people on r/KAM want women to abort male fetuses and many want men to die out, so no, r/KAM and MRA chambers are not the same.
