Why do people talk about how skinny women were in the 70s and 80s but never talk about how skinny men were back then

Why do people talk about how skinny women were in the 70s and 80s but never talk about how skinny men were back then. That was a whole generation of skinny men and women but the only ones talked about are the women. I guess you could say skinny women were just more visible in media but skinny men were too. Look at the movies from the 80s that were just full of skinny men. It seems like people are just saying that women are fatter than they used to be but men have been the same for the past 40 years. Men are just as fat now as we used to be. <br> <br> <br>But the answer is skinny men don't matter of course. Only skinny women matter. <br> <br> <br>It's so reminiscent of how men die more from Covid but it's the women who are actually dying that matter. It's mostly men dying in war but the women are the real victims of war.
