Just had the craziest thought today, and I can't stop thinking about it.<br><br>~1990s to ~2023 is probably the full reign of humans as 'mortal' entities. By 2030s I think we will have augmented so much that we will be on the path to extending our lives.<br><br>It is wild to think about. From ~1990s to ~2020s is likely the final lap of humans being as they were. We won't be turning back from these changes.<br><br>Our grandchildren won't die of age. Their great grandchildren will be cyborgs. And their great great great great grandchildren will be god knows what.<br><br>Enjoy the rest of being mortal.
