Why this sub is so called and what MGTOW is all about.

So many new folks coming in, I think it would be a good idea for a quick overview of what Men Going Their Own Way is all about. <br><br>Because we need to explain what MGTOW is all about so often, i thought it would be a good idea to have one in the book of faces. So here it is: <br><br>MGTOW - Men Going Their Own Way<br><br>**What is MGTOW?** <br><br>MGTOW is a Movement of men who believe it is senseless to go to war for women and children, or go to jail for women and children. <br><br>The second requirement is that you are male. If you are a woman, you cannot join our movement. Sorry. <br><br>The third requirement is to go your own way. <br><br>- **Do not live for others. Live for yourself**. <br><br>- **Do not put women on a pedestal. Treat them as equals.** <br><br>- **Do not align yourself with either the Red or Blue political parties.** <br><br>- **Do not get married. Do not have kids.** <br><br>- **Do not go to war for any reason. War is a racket, and you are just cannon fodder.**<br><br>- **Do not support the legal system. You have no say in the outcome, and you are just a revenue stream for them.** <br><br>- **Do not engage with women who do not treat you with respect and dignity.** <br><br>In 1907, Rudyard Kipling wrote a poem called **The Female of the Species.** <br><br>It was a great poem, and from that is where our name was born. <br><br>Never mind that men are victims of intimate partner violence, women are still the *victims.*
