Anyone else work 12 hour shifts and just need simple and quick ideas to keep food on the table?

I work 12 hour shifts, with three or four days off in between. Food is a must, but I feel like there are only so many cup-a-noodles and Ramen that a person can eat.

I have a slow cooker that I haven’t ever used. Since I have days off, that seems like the perfect opportunity to put some simple ingredients together and let it cook while I’m making my rounds at work.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated, and please start with the simplest first.
