Why are there more men than women?

You'll need a little math here so let's go.<br><br>Suppose that we had exactly the same number of men and women, 50% each.<br><br>Since men are more aggressive and impulsive, men commit crime more often. In the US, men make up more than 80% of prisoners.<br><br>So, if we go to prison, there are a lot more men in there than women. (Around 80% men and 20% women, for easy math)<br><br>Prison is not a fun place, but it's a lot LESS fun if you're a women in a women's prison. Why? Because there are 4x more men than women. The OTHER gender, the one that commits crime more often, is actually LESS in prison than the same gender.<br><br>So tinder swipes must be pretty fun for women in prison, right? Not exactly. The women in prison are in there because they, you know, committed a crime. These women are not your average women. They are more impulsive and aggressive than the average.<br><br>So, if you're a woman in prison, you're dating other women who are impulsive and aggressive, and there are 4x LESS of them than if you were a man in prison. So basically, women's prison sucks way more than men's prison when it comes to dating.<br><br>So, these women in women's prison are less likely to have kids because they don't really have anyone to match with. Meanwhile, men's prison is basically like a frat house if you got 4x more potential matches.<br><br>So, there are basically 4x more babies in men's prison than women's because the women's prison is like a ghost town. This means there are more men than women, but then they end up in prison, have LESS babies, and there are even more women relative to men.<br><br>So, we started with a lot more men than women. Then the men went to prison, had LESS babies, and now there are WAY more women than men.<br><br>But the next generation, there are even MORE men than women, because of the gender ratio. This means more men in prison, LESS babies, and even MORE women than men. We call this positive feedback, it just keeps reinforcing the trend and the difference between the two genders gets bigger and bigger.<br><br>Eventually, we'll have almost no men and the few men left will be fighting for survival because they're vastly outnumbered. But wait! There are actually more men than women!<br><br>There are a lot more men in China and India than women. This is because China had a one child policy, and Indian parents want their son to take care of them when they're older. So they kill their daughters.<br><br>Why did I bring this up? Because India and China are about 1/3 of the world's population. So basically 1/3 of the world has more men than women.<br><br>The rest of the world is more or less gender equal.<br><br>So, add the two together. In 1/3 of the world, there are more men. In the other 2/3 of the world, there are more women.<br><br>It turns out, the 1/3 of the world with more men is just big enough to offset the 2/3 of the world with more women, so the entire world has slightly more men than women.<br><br>TL;DR: In most of the world, women outlive men and commit less crime. There are a couple of countries where they kill their daughters. When you add it all together, there are slightly more men than women.
