Do you save leftovers? I don't keep leftovers. Ever.

So I did a poll on r/chefs_and_cooks and over 88% save leftovers.

I don't. Ever. I never grew up with leftovers, at least not to save. I'm 25 now, and I have never liked leftovers. So I don't save them. I would rather eat two portions at once and be done. I would rather throw away leftover food than leave it in the fridge.

I feel like it's a bad habit to be like "well I'll eat this tomorrow" or "I'll have it for lunch at work" because it never happens for me, or at least hasn't for years. I would throw it away, or other people would eat it, and inevitably it would be left in the fridge for awhile and gross me out.

It's become a huge argument at home with my mom and grandma because they think it's a waste of money. I think it's a waste of my time.

What do you think? Do you save leftovers?
