OpenAI is in trouble

OpenAI is in trouble as a lot of top AI researchers left the company. Also there are rumors of Microsoft wanting to buy OpenAI but the OpenAI board has rejected this offer. What does this mean for the future of AI in general and specifically ChatGPT and DALL-E?
