MS Office requires an auth even with a 100% legitimate licence

Just tried to use Word, it pops up with a full screen that says "Your account doesn't have permission to access this app. Please make sure that you're using your work or school account."<br><br>I have a fully paid up licence, one that I've just renewed by the way. Now what? How in the hell can I write this report without it?
