What are the grounds for requesting a transfer to a different department

I work for a large US health insurance company and I wanted to know what are some valid reasons to ask to transfer to a different department within the same company. I’m looking to leave my current position because of burnout and looking into different department, but I’m not sure how to articulate my reasons other than burnout. <br><br>I was thinking of saying something like, <br><br>“I’m looking to transfer because I want to grow and expand my career path within the company. I have been in my role for (X) amount of time and I feel like I have all the skills and knowledge to succeed in a different capacity within the company. I believe that working in this position in this department will give me an opportunity to explore (briefly mention what the new department does) and I feel like I can offer some new perspectives and ideas to help the new department become more successful.”<br><br>I’m scared because I don’t want to rock the boat but I think it’s time for me to move on.
