I hate internet anime fans

This may sound provocative but the more i watch anime, the more i hate THIS community.<br><br>I've been watching anime for 5-6 years now but i've never been this annoyed at the general anime fanbase. This is the only community that can make me hate a show i love, and have to be careful about what "type" of anime i enjoy in fear of being judged. Wtf is this? this is impossible to see in other fandoms.<br><br>I hate how some fans gate content based on whether or not it has fanservice, i don't give a shit if the show is plot heavy and has 0 fanservice, i'll still watch it. I ain't letting anyone dictate my taste in shows.<br><br>I hate the oversexualization of 2D highschool age girls, i hate it so much. I don't understand why grown men are obsessed with underage looking anime girls. I also hate how some fans hump the 2D leg, it's just so embarrassing.<br><br>I hate how some fans have the nerve to call out weebs for their bad behavior but they themselves behave just like them.<br><br>I hate how a lot of fans abuse Japanese words and phrases. I hate how these words are being misused and used out of context. I hate how they throw around the word weeaboo like it's nothing.<br><br>I hate how a lot of fans don't respect the creators and their work. Fans think that they know what's best for the show, they know what's best for the characters, they know what's best for the story.<br><br>I hate how a lot of fans have no regard for the author's intent and their vision. What the creators think is irrelevant (to these fans), what really matters is what they want, and if it's not what they want they will voice their "opinion" on the internet.<br><br>I hate these "fans" because they make me feel embarrassed to call myself an anime fan, they make me feel embarrassed to say that i love a certain show because they've ruined it for me. I hate them so much, they're the reason why i have trust issues.
