How I sold pills and got addicted to heroin

I was 24 years old at the time and I had been taking drugs for around 9 years. <br><br>I had gone through the phases of taking pills, smoking weed, and popping bennies ofcourse. <br><br>I had never really been into taking "hard" drugs like heroin, meth or coke as I always thought of it as a way to end up in a rut.<br><br>I was approached by someone and they said they wanted to do a deal where they would pay my debt off to a person in a different town. That was if I was willing to go down to that town and sell some pills for him a couple of months out of the year. I was more than happy to take this offer as it was around $10,000 that I owed. <br><br>I ended up taking that offer and I was told a couple of weeks later that I would have to go down to this town and sell some stuff. I asked the person what it was that I was selling and they told me they were pills, but he didn't tell me what was in them. <br><br>I had no problem with selling pills as I had done that before and it was always fine. I was just going to go down, sell the pills and then come back home. I thought it was simple and easy. <br><br>I went down and I got the pills and the person that I was working for told me what to sell them for and things like that. We talked for a bit and then they left. <br><br>The next day I decided I should test one of the pills to see what kind of shit it was. So I took one pill and it was pretty much like a perc 10, so you could say it was okay quality. <br><br>I started selling the pills and I was selling a lot of them. I was doing great and making a lot of money and I was barely spending any of it. I was aware that I was doing a lot of the pills and drinking a lot that whole week. <br><br>That whole week I was selling a lot and making a lot of money. I was barely spending any, just buying booze and a couple grams of coke here and there. I was doing the pills a couple of times a day as well. <br><br>I woke up on a Sunday and I felt like shit. I had a headache and my whole body was weak. I went to take another pill, but there were none left. I had a panic attack and then at the last minute I found one bag that was hidden in the room. I took it and I finally felt better. <br><br>I still had another week left down there so I could sell more pills. When I went out to go sell more that day I had another panic attack and I was out of pills again. I knew I had to find a way to get more pills so I went to a few dealers and asked if they had any pills. They didn't have any so it was a bust. <br><br>That whole day I felt like shit and I still had no pills. I ended up just drinking and trying to wait it out. I knew I had to get more pills to feel better quickly. <br><br>As the day was going on, I still had no luck finding pills. A person I knew messaged me and they said they had some pills and that I could come and get them. I was stoked and on my way. <br><br>When I got there, he pulled out a bag and it wasn't pills. It was heroin. I tried to fight it and tell myself no, but it didn't take long for me to give in and take it. I knew it was a bad thing to do, but the thought of getting that dopemaine hit and feeling better was too hard to pass up. <br><br>I took that and almost immediately I felt better. I no longer felt like shit and my body stopped hurting. I had never felt so good. <br><br>The whole rest of the trip I was taking heroin as often as I could. I was making a lot of money and I wasn't spending any of it on anything else but the stuff that I needed. I was barely eating or showering. <br><br>I ended up getting very ill and I had to go to the emergency room. I told them what was going on and they said I had to stay there. I ended up staying there for a couple of days and having to have fluids put in me and things like that. <br><br>I ended up getting out with no charges filed. I went back to my town and I was still taking heroin. I was spending all of my money on it and I was getting very ill. <br><br>I ended up having to be put on methadone because I couldn't save enough money to get a treatment done. <br><br>I spent the next year clean. That was until I started drinking and smoking weed again. I was doing fine and then I went back to taking pills. <br><br>I took one pill, but I took way too much and I ended up back on heroin. <br><br>That's my story of how I went from selling pills to getting hooked on heroin. <br><br>EDIT: I'm currently back on heroin. I was clean for a year until I had a relapse and I took a pill again. I took way too much and I was sick so ofcourse I went back to heroin. <br><br>I'm currently in the process of finding a way to get treatment, but I don't know if I can wait that long and I feel myself wanting to give up already.
