I see thousands and thousands of patients a year. I take their blood, I administer their vaccines, I do all their vitals, I take their history, I make sure this shit is as smooth as it can run.

I’ve watched patients develop severe mental health disorders after being prescribed Ambien, flexeril, or percocet.

I’ve seen patients have their Urinary Tract Infections completely ignored because the doctor insists on waiting for a new culture even though we know it’s an infection.

I’ve watched patients get sent out to do 1500$ tests that could have been prevented if someone took a second to LISTEN to the symptoms instead of trying to throw out random diagnoses.

I’ve watched patients be misdiagnosed for months, sometimes even years because the doctor simply looked at their 10-15 prior diagnoses and got a new diagnosis mixed up with another without listening to their current symptoms, and then the patient is prescribed the wrong medication.

I’ve seen patients be sent to specialists, where the specialist will send them back to the primary and the primary will send them BACK to the specialist and the patient will be ping ponged back and forth on multiple visits and thousands of dollars for a diagnosis that was spaced out for no reason when it could have been done in one visit at the primary care level.

I’ve seen patients told not to worry about their high blood pressure because it’s not THAT high when it’s still high and it still needs to be watched.

I’ve seen oral medications prescribed in place of ointments for open wounds, and the pill working at a slower rate and the patient in months of pain.

I’ve watched patients be prescribed mental health meds with NO trial and error or follow up.

I’ve watched patients be prescribed pain killers for migraines when they have a history of addiction and the patient suffers A WEEK LATER because no one followed up with them and the doctor didn’t care, and now the patient is back on a drug they were addicted to for YEARS.

I’ve worked in small practices and big practices and I’ve seen shit loads of patients. I’ve seen this across the board, in multiple offices. My dad went to the doctor for something unrelated and the doctor was trying to PUSH ADHD MEDICATION ON HIM WHEN HE DOESN’T EVEN HAVE ADHD.

I’ve seen doctors completely dismiss the symptoms of their patients and the patients are still in pain or sick weeks later, with no relief and no one will listen to them and sometimes they can end up dead.
