I’m going to be honest: I’m extremely disappointed by the portrayal of drugs in Euphoria.

I watch the show, and I go to high school, I can assure you that the way they portray drugs are being too much. By the way, I’m not a Republican that wants drugs banned, I do want drugs to be legal (excluding meth and heroin), but the way that they get portrayed in media, I don’t really like that.

Drugs are not the problem. It’s the way we look at them, and cause a massive stigma around them. I’ve done drugs, I’m fine, but I don’t touch them, because I’m afraid of doing too much, because I’m afraid of what my parents will say, because I’m afraid of my reputation. Drugs can be safe, but when they are being abused, it can be bad.

I’m not saying Euphoria is terrible, but I don’t think they’re doing a good job at portraying drugs working. They just paint a bad picture of them, which doesn’t lead anywhere. Same with movies and TV shows.

That’s my take. What do you think? Do you think Euphoria is doing a good job at portraying drugs?
