The whole "I've got a map of Europe on my wall at home and people call me weird for it" thing is 99.999% fake

This is one of those things that keeps popping up here and there and every time it's described in the exact same detail.<br><br>I just can't imagine how typical it is that heaps of people get called names for having a world/continent/country map on their wall and marking them as they go.<br><br>Is this one of these viral lies that just blew up and everyone repeats it because it sounds kinda cool, or am I missing something?
