"I was an anti-communist"

I just watched a video on YouTube and, sadly, not once did i see any kind of argument against communism other than "muh china bad", "muh stalin bad" or "muh but americas not like that".

I wish young conservatives would stop saying "I was an anti-communist" because most of them weren't. They didn't do any research on the topic of communism, they didn't read much, they didn't learn about history. They watched a few videos on YouTube, or listened to whatever the higher-ups wanted them to do, and suddenly became communists.

It's not like I don't agree with them on some points. I do. Because they are not communists. "I was anti-communist and so I agree with you about the issues!" And then you bring up the issues of capitalism, and they frown. Suddenly they say "I'm not a communist though! I agree that china's bad!". No, you're not a communist. You're just a person with a bad debate method.
